Wushu at the Commonwealth Games - a Demonstration Sport
Wushu is a Chinese martial arts. There was an exhibition of wushu at the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, but no details of the competition have been found.
Wushu was one of the four demonstration sports at Games, the others were Sepak Takraw, Silambam and Silat.
The sport has never been on the official Commonwealth Games program.
