Skijoring, which is the sport of being pulled along on skis behind an animal, was a demonstration sport at the 1928 Olympics in St. Moritz, Switzerland. The athletes were pulled along behind a horse. Dog sled racing, similar to skijoring, was included as a demonstration event at the Winter Olympics in 1932.
