Rugby Sevens at the Asian Games
A Rugby Union tournament was first part of the Asian Games in 1998, and has been on the program ever since.
Trivia
- At 1998 and 2002 editions of the Asian Games, both the usual fifteen-a-side and rugby sevens versions were played, though from 2006 onwards only rugby sevens has been played. In 2010, a women's rugby sevens event was introduced.
