AFC Asian Cup
The Asian Cup, run by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), is Asia’s most significant sporting event. The winning team becomes the champion of Asia and automatically qualifies for the FIFA Confederations Cup.
Previous Asian Cups were held in in the UAE in 2019 and Qatar in 2023. The next event will be held in Saudi Arabia in 2027.
