The women's football team from Chinese Taipei has participated at the FIFA Women's World Cup only once. Chinese Taipei made their debut in 1991, making the quarter-finals and finishing in 8th place.

Taiwan is one of the few countries that have participated in the FIFA women's World Cup without ever qualifying for the men's version.
