Northern Territory Sports Academy (NTSA)
The Northern Territory Sports Academy (formerly the Northern Territory Institute of Sport, NTIS) provides services and resources to enhance athlete and coach performance in the Northern Territory.
NTSA BuildingThe NTSA is located among sporting facilities located at Darwin's Marrara Sporting Complex.
The facilities include:
- Weight training
- Sport science laboratory
- International standard synthetic athletics track
- Recovery Centre including a 8 person spa
- and many other sporting facilities nearby (hockey fields, indoor stadium, football fields)
The Northern Territory Sports Academy (NTSA) has three programs to support athlete development within the Northern Territory:
- Foundations Program
- Futures Program
- Individual Athlete Scholarship
