The AFL Grand Final sprint is an annual event which usually takes place at half-time of AFL Grand Final. It was first held in 1979. There has also been a kicking competition. Since 2021, there has also been a women's sprint event.

2019 Winner: Ben King (Gold Coast Suns)

This year's race only involved current AFL players (in 2018 the runners included two U/18 amateur AFL players). The on screen timer clocked King at 11.62 seconds for the 100m.
