Long Track Speedway
Long Track Motorcycle speedway (often just called Longtrack) is a version of motorcycle speedway, with the races taking place on longer tracks (ranging from 800 to 1000 meters) and racing at much higher speeds.
Compared to regular motorcycle speedway, the bikes used for long track are slightly larger and has a two-speed gearbox (speedway bikes have one speed). Long track speedway races usually consist of six riders.
Motorcycle speedway raceThe sport is popular in Germany, and the majority of long track speedway tracks are to be found there. There are events held around there world, where there are no specific long tracks, the races are usually held on ½ Mile or 1 km long Harness Racing or Showground tracks.

- Motorcycle Speedway — the motorcycles have one gear and no brakes, and race around a circular track. Also commonly known as just 'speedway'.
- Ice Speedway — similar to Motorcycle Speedway Racing, though using bikes developed specifically for racing on ice. The bikes race anti-clockwise around oval tracks between 260 and 425 meters in length.
- Auto Race — a Japanese version of motorcycle speedway, but combines gambling added into it and is held on an asphalt course.
- Cycle Speedway — replicating motorbike speedway though using bicycles.
