The 1967 Copa América was held in Uruguay. It was the 29th edition of the tournament.

The tournament saw the participation of six CONMEBOL nations—Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay, and Venezuela.

The event was conducted in a round-robin format where each team played against the others once, and Uruguay emerged as the winner by finishing at the top of the standings, securing their eleventh Copa América title.
