This dessert is very special in its sneaky way of increasing nutritional content with no one realizing due to the chocolate disguise. It is so worth a try, and should be easy for most!

Ingredients (serves 2-3)

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 60g rolled oats
  • 60g medjool dates
  • 2 tsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp almond meal
  • 200ml milk
  • Ice/cold water as needed

Method

  • Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth
  • Adjust the liquid ingredient quantities to suit the desired consistency
  • For mousse consistency use more avocado and almond meal, less milk and ice
  • For a smoothie, add more water and milk
  • Adjust the cocoa level for the desired chocolate flavor
